School Sponsorship 2023

Volunteers of Africa (VOA) puts an emphasis on sponsoring schools, students, and educators throughout the Koulikoro Region of Mali. Items such as paper, pencils, pens, chalk, desks, chairs, tables, bicycles (for transportation to and from school), and clothing are always needed. VOA supports schools in the region by donating these items as well as by purchasing textbooks, school supplies, and backpacks. Schools selected for sponsorship are identified by community leaders. Local VOA representatives visit schools to discuss and confirm highest priority needs in advance of setting up donations and sponsorships.
